2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League Group B Round 9, Sunday, 7 December 2025:
FMP – SPLIT
Where? FMP Arena, Belgrade
When? 17:00
Story of the game: In the opening game of the Sunday’s AdmiralBet ABA League schedule, FMP will be hosting Split at home in their FMP Arena in Belgrade.
It is a game, where the Panthers will be chasing their forth win of the season in order to improve their record to 4:4 and try and stay in the Top 8 race, as they are now well behind the Top Four in the Group A, standing in the fifth place in the standings, with 2 defeats more on their record than the fourth-placed Igokea m:tel. On the other side, Split, that are currently occupying the 8th place in the standings need to win in order to move away from the very bottom, where Krka are currently placed with just one win less than the Dalmatian side.
Both teams are entering the contest with a clear desire of getting back on the winning track. While both of them have won 2 out of their last 5 games, FMP have lost 2 in a row recently and Split 1.
It’s worth noting that in 10 mutual encounters between the two sides so far in Belgrade, Split have failed to grab a single win, so they will also be trying to make history. Can they do it? Tune in on Sunday night and find out!
Match-up in focus: Probably the key match-up of the game is the one between Filip Barna and Zoran Dragić. While Barna has been the top scorer and passer of FMP with 20.4 points and 3.3 assists made per game, Dragić has been achieving 9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assist per game as Split’s third-leading rebounder and passer.
Head-to-head score in ABA: In total 15:5; in Belgrade 10:0.
