EC: U-BT Cluj-Napoca Overpower Neptūnas with 118-Point Offensive Show

U-BT Cluj-Napoca delivered one of their most spectacular performances of the season on Wednesday night, blowing past Neptūnas Klaipėda at home with a convincing 118:97 victory in Round 11 of the 2025/26 BKT EuroCup.

From the opening tip, it was clear that the Romanian side were in an offensive rhythm few teams could handle. U-BT Cluj-Napoca played with pace, precision and confidence, tearing apart the Neptūnas defense and piling up an incredible 68 points in the first half alone. Ball movement was sharp, shots were falling from every position, and the home side quickly established control of the game.

The scoring onslaught did not slow down after the break. U-BT Cluj-Napoca continued to pour points into the visitors’ basket in the second half, comfortably pushing past the 100-point mark and turning the contest into a showcase of offensive basketball.

The undisputed star of the night was Mitchell Creek, who produced a truly outstanding individual performance. The Australian forward was virtually unstoppable, finishing the game with 40 points and an exceptional index rating of 43, leading the charge in one of the most efficient scoring displays of the EuroCup season so far.

With this emphatic home win, U-BT Cluj-Napoca improved their overall record to 6-5, strengthening their position inside the Top 6 zone in Group A.
