New Power in Yellow: Demajeo Wiggins Is a New Player of Split

Demajeo Wiggins (28, 206 cm), an American from Toledo, Ohio, is the new player of Split.

He has signed a contract until the end of the season, and Wiggins is expected to join team practices at the beginning of the week.

He arrives from Shenzhen (China), having started the season with Karditsas in Greece, and brings with him rich European playing experience, having competed in the Czech Republic, Latvia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, and Spain.

“I’m excited to be part of the Split family. I’m joining a club with a winning history at all levels and many great players who have worn the yellow jersey before me. I will bring energy to the team and do everything necessary to help us achieve as many wins as possible,” said Wiggins.

Demajeo Wiggins (28, 206 cm), Amerikanac iz Toleda (Ohio) novi je igrač Splita. Ugovor je potpisan do kraja sezone, a Wiggins bi se treninzima trebao priključiti početkom tjedna. Stiže iz kineskog Shenzhena, sezonu je započeo u grčkom Karditsasu, a iza njega je bogato europsko igračko iskustvo (Češka, Latvija, Bugarska, Mađarska, Njemačka i Španjolska).

- Uzbuđen sam što sam dio obitelji Splita. Došao sam u klub s pobjedničkom poviješću na svim razinama i s mnogo sjajnih igrača koji su nosili žuti dres prije mene. Momčadi ću donijeti energiju i učiniti sve što je potrebno kako bismo ostvarili što više pobjeda - rekao je Wiggins.
