EL: One Night, Three Defeats

It was a rough night for all three AdmiralBet ABA League representatives in the EuroLeague, as defeats followed one another.

Partizan Mozzart Bet never truly found their footing on the road against AS Monaco, suffering a convincing 101:84 defeat. The black-and-whites were already facing a double-digit deficit by halftime, and whatever hopes they might have had of a second-half reaction were quickly shut down.

Monaco controlled the pace, punished defensive lapses, and never allowed Partizan to even flirt with a comeback. This loss marked Partizan’s fifth consecutive defeat in the competition.

In Belgrade, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet were unable to protect home court, falling 106:89 to Valencia Basket. The red-and-whites spent the entire game chasing the result, struggling to establish any sustained momentum.

Their brief spark came in the third quarter, when they managed to cut the deficit to just four points. But the response from Valencia was immediate and ruthless, as the visitors closed the period with authority and restored a comfortable double-digit cushion. The fourth quarter was little more than a formality, with Valencia calmly seeing the game out.

Dubai Basketball experienced a dramatic turnaround on the road against Hapoel Tel Aviv, losing 85:60 in a game that completely slipped away after halftime.

Dubai actually impressed in the first half, going into the break with a five-point advantage and playing disciplined, energetic basketball. Everything unraveled in the third quarter, however, as they were outscored 33:13, losing control at both ends of the floor. The numbers were brutal: just 19 points scored in the entire second half, turning a promising situation into a heavy defeat.

Despite the disappointing night, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet remain inside the Top 10 with an overall record of 11-9. Dubai Basketball now sit at 9-11, while Partizan Mozzart Be have dropped to 6-14.
