FEC: Bosna BH Telecom Book Quarter-Finals Ticket with Convincing Home Win

Bosna BH Telecom have officially secured a place in the FIBA Europe Cup quarter-finals after defeating CSM Oradea at home, 76:63, in today’s Top 16 clash.

This victory marked Bosna’s third win in four games in the Top 16 phase and lifted the Sarajevo side to an overall record of 3-1 in Group L, which was enough to clinch one of the top two positions in the group with two rounds still to be played.

The hosts did not open the game in ideal fashion, as Oradea took control early and built a 9-point advantage after the opening quarter - 15:24. However, Bosna BH Telecom responded in emphatic style, raising the defensive intensity in the second period. The home team allowed their opponents just 8 points in the entire second quarter, a dominant stretch that enabled Bosna to completely swing the momentum and head into halftime with a one-point lead - 33:32.

The turning point proved decisive, as Bosna carried that defensive focus into the second half. The Sarajevo squad continued to lock down Oradea, conceding only 31 points across the entire second half, steadily increasing the gap and keeping the visitors at arm’s length. With control at both ends of the floor, Bosna calmly closed out the game and celebrated a well-deserved 76:63 triumph.
