EL: Zvezda extend EuroLeague winning streak with home win over Dubai

In a thrilling AdmiralBet ABA League derby on the EuroLeague stage, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet defeated Dubai Basketball at home, 95:92, to extend their winning streak in the competition.

The Belgrade side recorded their fourth consecutive EuroLeague victory, improving their overall record to 15-10, while Dubai Basketball continued to struggle away from home and dropped to 11-14.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet came out firing and delivered one of their most dominant quarters of the season. The home team completely controlled the opening period, winning it 34:14 and setting the tone early. However, Dubai Basketball responded in impressive fashion. The visitors flipped the script in the second quarter, tightening their defense and finding rhythm offensively to take the period 27:10, cutting the deficit to just three points at halftime.

The third quarter turned into a true battle, with both teams trading baskets and momentum. Zvezda eventually found the decisive edge in the closing minutes of the third quarter and carried that surge into the start of the final period. Jared Butler, Jordan Nwora, Ebuka Izundu and Nikola Kalinić all played key roles during that stretch, helping the home side rebuild a double-digit advantage.
