DUBAI BASKETBALL - Bosna BH Telecom 100:82 (21:17, 24:18, 25:23, 30:24)
Game Recap: Dubai Basketball opened their Top 8 stage campaign in dominant fashion, defeating Bosna BH Telecom at home 100:82. With this victory, Dubai improved their overall season record to 16-1 and have officially secured a place in the 2026 AdmiralBet ABA League Playoffs, alongside Partizan Mozzart Bet. The two sides are currently setting the pace at the top of the Top 8 standings.
On the other side, Bosna BH Telecom suffered a defeat in their Top 8 opener, yet the Sarajevo squad delivered a respectable performance against one of the strongest teams in the competition. Bosna now stand at 8-9 overall.
Key moments: Dubai Basketball gradually built their advantage throughout the game, controlling the rhythm on both ends of the floor. While the hosts were steady from the opening minutes, the crucial stretch came in the second quarter.
During that period, Dubai managed to create separation and push the margin into double digits. From that point on, the home side maintained control, never allowing Bosna to seriously threaten their lead.
Man of the match: Dubai’s big man Mfiondu Kabengele delivered another outstanding performance. Kabengele scored 21 points, including four three-pointers, once again stretching the floor and creating matchup problems for the opposition.
Kabengele also added 7 rebounds, impacting the game on both ends and leading his team toward an important Top 8 victory.
Can’t trick the stats: Dubai Basketball were excellent from beyond the arc, knocking down 15 three-pointers out of 29 attempts. That level of efficiency from long range proved decisive and made it extremely difficult for Bosna BH Telecom to keep pace.
