Khalil Brantley reinforces Krka

The American guard comes from the Bronx, New York. After attending Our Savior Lutheran High School, he played three seasons for the La Salle Explorers, where he established himself as the team’s primary playmaker and one of its leading scorers. Before the 2024/25 season, he transferred to Oklahoma State University. 

After completing his studies, he began his professional career in Europe with KK Tamiš, which competes in the Serbian KLS league. In his first European season, he played 19 games for Tamiš, averaging 16.3 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Khalil Brantley okrepil Krko

Člansko ekipo Košarkarskega kluba Krka Novo mesto je okrepil Khalil Brantley, 24-letni ameriški košarkar in organizator igre, visok 185 centimetrov. V Krki bo nosil dres s številko 5.

“Prihod v Krko je zame velika čast. Prihajam v klub z močno tradicijo, ki slovi po profesionalnosti in korektnosti, zato sem ponosen, da postajam del te zgodbe. Prihajam z željo, da na vse možne načine prispevam k uspehu ekipe – z delom in borbenostjo, vključevanjem soigralcev, doseganjem točk ter z zavezanostjo, da se vsak dan izboljšujem. Moj cilj je pomagati ekipi tekmovati na najvišji ravni in skupaj nadaljevati pot naprej. Navijačem pa sporočam, da so proč od mojega doma poleg soigralcev zdaj moja nova družina. Zato se veselim, da bom ta klub predstavljal s ponosom in dal vse od sebe vsakič, ko stopim na igrišče. Komaj čakam, da začutim vašo podporo in da se skupaj s soigralci borim za barve Krke,” je ob prihodu povedal Brantley.

Khalil Brantley je ameriški branilec iz Bronxa (New York). Po srednji šoli Our Savior Lutheran High School je tri sezone igral za univerzo La Salle, kjer se je uveljavil kot glavni organizator igre in strelec ekipe Explorers. 

Pred sezono 2024/25 je prestopil na Oklahoma State, po koncu študija pa profesionalno kariero začel v Evropi, kjer je podpisal za KK Tamiš Pančevo v srbski ligi KLS. V svoji prvi sezoni v Evropi je za KK Tamiš odigral 19 tekem ter v povprečju beležil 16,3 točke, 4,5 asistence in 3,8 skoka na tekmo.
