In Memoriam: Duško Vujošević (1959-2026)
The ABA Family is saddened to report that one of the greatest coaches in the history of the ABA League and regional basketball, Duško Vujošević, has passed away at the age of 67.

The basketball world mourns the passing of Duško Vujošević, one of the most influential and respected coaches in basketball history of the region. Known for his uncompromising discipline, sharp basketball intellect, and deep commitment to developing young talent, Vujošević leaves behind a legacy that transcends trophies and titles.
Born in 1959 in Belgrade, Vujošević dedicated his life to the game. He became synonymous with KK Partizan, where he built a reputation as a master tactician and mentor. Across multiple tenures with the club, he guided generations of players, many of whom would go on to achieve international success. Under his leadership, Partizan dominated domestic competitions and earned respect on the regional and European stage, winning five ABA League trophies with Partizan amongst other achievements.
Vujošević was more than a coach - he was a teacher of the game and of life. He demanded excellence, accountability, and mental toughness, instilling values that extended far beyond the court. His players often spoke of his profound influence, not only on their careers but on their character.
