Game Recap: Vienna claimed a massive 92:84 road win against FMP in Round 9 of the Play-Out stage, a result that carries huge weight in the standings as, with this victory, the visiting side have definitively escaped the last place.

On the other side, this defeat came as a serious blow for FMP’s Play-In ambitions. The Belgrade squad now find themselves behind Zadar in the race for the 2nd spot, meaning that their path to the Play-In has become complicated. In the final round, FMP will have to do their part and win their game, while also hoping that Zadar slip, as that is now the only scenario that could push them into the desired position.

Key moments: The turning point came in the 4th quarter. FMP were holding a narrow lead with 8 minutes left on the clock - 71:70. However, Vienna then delivered a decisive 15:2 run over the next four minutes, flipping the game completely and building a double-digit advantage at 85:73.

FMP attempted to respond in the closing minutes, but missed several key shots, while Vienna stayed composed and protected their lead to seal a valuable win on the road.

Man of the match: Simas Jarumbauskas led Vienna to victory with a dominant double-double performance. He finished the game with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while also calmly converting crucial free throws late in the 4th quarter to keep his team at a safe distance.

Can’t trick the stats: Ball movement made the difference - Vienna dished out 23 assists, compared to just 14 by FMP, highlighting the visitors’ superior team play on the night.
