ABA League referees have achieved another confirmation of their undisputed quality at the international level, as the names of the referees to officiate at the Olympic Basketball Tournament in Rio de Janeiro and Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in Belgrade, Manila and Turin were revealed. Our regional competition is the club competition with the highest number of referees at the list of officials for the four tournaments, not taking into account the continental club competitions.

Three ABA League referees - Damir Javor, Ilija Belošević and Sreten Radović will officiate at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Rio de Janeiro, while Saša Pukl will be amongst the 7-strong referee squad at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Manila and Matej Boltauzer will, together with Milivoje Jovčić, be amongst the eight referees to officiate in Turin.
