Čebular the next to move from Tajfun to Krka

After they have formed their coaching staff for the next season, Krka started composing their roster. Their new reinforcement is 30-year old and 196 cm tall shooting guard Sandi Čebular, who spent the last season playing in the ABA League for Tajfun.

Former junior and senior national team member of Slovenia began his career in šentjur, from where he moved to Union Olimpija in the 2006/07 season. In December 2007 he tried himself in Spain for the first time, he played for Rosalia in the Spanish second division. In his career he also played for Slovan Ljubljana, Lobe Huesca from Spain, Rogaška and in the end for Tajfun, with which he won the Slovenian Supercup trophy last season.

As a key member of Tajfun he played 30 minutes per game in the ABA League last season and averaged 13.6 points, 3.5 assists and 4 rebounds per contest.

In a short period of time he became the third player to move from Tajfun to Krka. Dragiša Drobnjak did it in the final part of the last season and Ceola Clark III. did it after season ended. Also, former Tajfun head coach Dejan Mihevc will lead Krka from the bench in the forthcoming season.

Čebular naslednji iz Tajfuna h Krki

Po sestavi strokovnega štaba članske ekipe v Krki nadaljujejo s sestavljanjem ekipe za naslednjo sezono. Ekipo je na poziciji branilca okrepil 30-letni in 196 cm visoki Sandi Čebular, ki je v minuli sezoni prav tako nastopal v ligi ABA, a v vrstah Tajfuna.

Nekdanji mladinski in članski reprezentant je svojo športno pot začel v šentjurju, v sezoni 2006/07 pa prestopil k Unionu Olimpiji. Decembra 2007 se je prvič podal na Iberski polotok v špansko drugo ligo, kjer je dve sezoni nosil dres Rosalije. V karieri je nato nastopal še za ljubljanski Slovan, špansko Lobe Huesco Rogaško ter nazadnje zopet za Tajfun, s katerim je v minuli sezoni tudi osvojil slovensko superpokalno lovoriko.

Kot nosilec igre v ligi ABA je v povprečno 30 minutah dosegal 13,6 točk, 3,5 podaj in 4 skoke na tekmo.
