Ivica Zubac signed with the Los Angeles Lakers
Ivica Zubac has officially become a member of the Lakers, after he signed a three-year contract with the NBA side from Los Angeles. The youngster became the third Mega Leks player, after Nikola Jokić and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, who moved directly from Mega to the NBA in the past 2 seasons.

Zubac, who averaged 6.8 points and 3 rebounds in 5 games played in the ABA League, where he missed the majority of the season due to injury problems, has been already officially introduced by the Lakers, where he will wear the jersey with number 40 on his back.
Talented center joined Mega Leks during the last season when he arrived from Cibona. With Mega he won the 3rd place in the Serbian Superleague and has with his team secured himself a spot in the ABA League for next season. Afterwards the NBA Draft followed, where he was selected as the 32nd pick by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ivica Zubac je i zvanično postao član Lejkersa pošto je potpisao trogodišnji ugovor sa NBA timom iz Los Anđelesa. Mladi centar je postao treći igrač Mega Leksa, posle Jokića i Luvavua, koji je direktno iz kluba otišao u NBA ligu u poslednje dve godine.
Zubac, koji je u prošloj sezoni u proseku postizao 6,8 poena i 3 skoka na 5 odigranih utakmica u ABA ligi, u kojoj je veći deo sezone propustio zbog povrede, je zvanično predstavljen u Lejkersima i u novom klubu će nositi broj 40.
Talentovani centar je u redove Mega Leksa došao tokom proše sezone iz Cibone. Sa Megom je osvojio 3. mesto i uspeo da izbori plasman u ABA ligu naredne sezone. Nakon toga je usledio NBA draft na kome je Zubac od strane Lejkersa izabran kao 32. pik.
