Pecarski, Šamanić and Dragan named in the U16 European Championship All-star fives

The U16 European Championship is over and three players of ABA League countries made it into the All-star fives of Division A and B. Slovenia won the promotion to the A Division, while Croatia lost the medal game in Division A.

The U16 European Championship is over and three players of ABA League countries made it into the All-star fives of Division A and B. Slovenia won the promotion to the A Division, while Croatia lost the medal game in Division A.

The contest in the U16 European championships, both Division A and B is over and while Slovenia won the promotion to the Division A, by claiming the 3rd spot in the Division B, Croatia were fourht in the division A, Montenegro 8th, Serbia 10th and Bosnia and Herzegovina 14th. Macedonia did not enter the knockout stage of the Division B.

More notable than the teams' achievements were this time the individuals. Marko Pecarski of Mega Leks and Luka šamanić of KK Zagreb were named into the All-star five of the Division A, while Nik Dragan of Union Olimpija was named into the All-start five of the Divison B.

Pecarski averaged 26.6 points, 15.9 rebounds and a steal per game for Serbia in the Division A, šamanić averaged 17.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game for Croatia in the Divison A, while Nik Dragan averaged 10.1 points and 8.5 rebounds for Slovenia in the Division B.
