EuroBasket 2017 Qualifiers: Wins for Macedonia, Montenegro and Slovenia

Slovenia cruised to victory at home in Stožice Arena, Ljubljana, against the team of Kosovo in a game, where they have done the majority of their job as early as in the first half, which ended with the score of 64:31. In the second half, the home side just kept on pushing to confirm their high victory, which was set at the final score 113:68. The Dragić brothers were the ones to lead the way in scoring for Slovenia, with Goran putting in 20 and Zoran 19.

Macedonia had no problems with Luxembourg at home in Kavadarci, as they have created themselves a comfortable 15-point lead in the first half and just confirmed their supremacy in the second part, although Luxembourg did manage to cut the gap before the end. The final score was 92:81 for the hosts with Vojdan Stojanovski heading the scorers' list (28 points) and his brother Damjan and Aleksandar Kostoski following with 13 each.

In the last game of the night, Montenegro outplayed Slovakia in Morača Hall, Podgorica. The hosts did not want to allow anything even near an upset and were up by 22 points already at half time. With 10 minutes left on the clock, the margin was already 33 points and the final score was 97:65 in favour of Montenegro. Former Budućnost VOLI and Union Olimpija member Vladimir Dašić was the top scorr with 17 points, while Marko Todorović followed with 13.

Bosnia and Herzegovina had a rough ride playing on the road against Russia, as they have, after winning the first half battle by a point, lost in the end by no less than 29 points of margin. The final score was 83:54, with former Cedevita and Zadar player Jusuf Nurkić putting in 19 points for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Milan Milošević followed him with 10.
