Already on the opening day of the new season, we had a dramatic match in which Mega Leks prevailed over Union Olimpija in the final moments.
Key moments: Union Olimpija had the lead (85:84) and the ball, but Brandon Jefferson missed a three-pointer on 20 seconds before the end of the match, while Nikola Janković fouled his former teammate Alpha Kaba while going for a rebound. Mega Leks center scored both free throws on the other side and put his team in front - 86:85. Union Olimpija had enough time for the final attack, but they did not organize a good play. Eventually Blaž Mesiček pulled up for a very difficult jumper... He missed and Mega Leks won the match.
