Game recap: Zadar have made a huge comeback in the game against FMP and earned themselves the first pair of points this season, at their season opener in Višnjik after a thriller in the dying seconds of the game. They were trailing already by 13 points early in the game, but thanks to Ivan Marinković, Boris Barać and Lovro Mazalin, they have gotten back into the game and turned it around in their favour in the final quarter. In the end, they survived the clash for the win by a point thanks to two missed free throws by Dragan Apić few seconds before the end.

Key moments: After Zadar came in front and FMP caught them in the final minute, Dragan Apić had a chance to win the game for his team, as he was awarded two free throws few seconds before the end of the game but… he missed both. Zadar was rewarded two free throws on the other end, where Mislav Brzoja scored the first one and intentionally missed the second, which gave FMP another chance. They had to score with a tip-in in order to triumph, but they were unsuccessful.

Man of the match: Big man Ivan Marinković was unstoppable this night at Višnjik. He finished the game with 32 points, 8 rebounds and a valuation of 42! This way he pointed himself out amongst the serious candidates for the MVP of the round title.

Can't trick the stats: Teamplay is the one that put Zadar in front of FMP! This is one of the few statistical categories in which they were better than the opponent that night, but 21 assists made in comparison to only 15 by FMP was the difference that gave them the crucial advantage.
