Game recap: After the first half, it looked like that Budućnost VOLI will achieve an easy win in Sremska Mitrovica, but with always very persistent Mega Leks players we got another thrilling finish. Eventually, the visitors managed to stay in front, mostly thanks to their stunning shooting night, as the squad from Podgorica scored 13 three-pointers in this match.
Key moments: Mega Leks came very close of making an epic comeback in the finish of the fourth quarter. The hosts reduced the margin to 81:75 in the 37th minute, but Budućnost VOLI guard Nemanja Vranješ scored very important lay-up for 83:75, after his teammate Bojan Subotić made an offensive rebound.
Mega Leks had another chance to make this match super exciting. With one minute left on the clock, the score was 83:77 for Budućnost VOLI, while Kostja Mushidi of Mega Leks pulled up for a three-pointer. However, young played only hit the rim and Mega Leks wasted their last opportunity to catch up with their rivals.
Man of the match: Sead Šehović played one more great match in this season. He scored 22 points, including 6 three-pointers out of 8 attempts! His overall index rating was 20.
