Story of the game: In a fantastic atmosphere in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in Belgrade Partizan NIS overcame Cibona. This keeps the black and white atop of the standings with a perfect record after three games played, while Cibosi have lost their first encounter in three games. The Belgrade side made the crucial difference in the third quarter, when they have pulled away on a double-digit lead and afterwards managed to keep the advantage all until the final score of 87:81.

Key moments: Perhaps the crucial part of the game was the beginning of the third quarter, which Partizan NIS began with a 9:3 run which put them in front by 12 points (57:45). After that, Cibona did manage to cut the gap to 4 points midway through the last period (73:69 in 34th minute, but Partizan responded swiftly with a 4:0 run and put things back where they belonged again.

Man of the match: It’s getting rather boring repeating it over and over again after each game of Partizan NIS, but William Hatcher was once again exceptional. He led his team in scoring (26 points) and passing (6 assists) and collected the overall valuation of 26. He is our man of the match.

Can't trick the stats: Partizan’s better field goal percentage was the one that put Aleksandar Džikić’s men over those led by Damir Mulaomerović. The home side was shooting 3-pointers 13/33 (39%) and 2-pointers 18/32 (56%). Compared to Cibona’s 37% and 44% it is clear where the difference arose.
