Story of the game: Budućnost VOLI keep perfect record this season in the ABA League with another tremendous performance – this time their victims were Krka team of Novo mesto. Since the very beginning Vlado Šćepanović's squad gave no chance for the visitors and in the end got away with a convincing victory. This is second defeat for Krka after a strong opening and big win against Karpoš Sokoli.
Key moments: It is difficult to point out some key moment from this game, since Budućnost VOLI have dominated the court in Morača from the very beginning onwards. For the last time the game was a close one in 8th minute, when the home side was up by 14:2. However, in the next three minutes they went on a 12:2 run and created themselves a 12 point lead that just kept increasing. And the contest for two points was over.
Man of the match: Nemanja Vranješ was fantastic this time. He ended the game with 17 points (4/6 for three), 2 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal. His valuation in the end was 15, collected in only 20 minutes on court and – during this period, he led his team to a 16-point margin over the opponent. Impressive!
Can’t trick the stats: Budućnost VOLI were better than Krka this time in almost every statistical category but perhaps their most evident advantage was in rebounding. They collected 10 rebounds more than their opponent and this is the biggest reason for their impressive supremacy this time.
