Game recap: After a thrilling ending in the sixth round game in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall against Igokea, Crvena zvezda mts stay undefeated, alongside Budućnost VOLI and Igokea and they have done it the hard way after blowing away the double-digit lead, gained in the opening half. Zvezda were up by 11 when the half time buzzer went on, but had to give in a serious battle in the dying seconds in order to celebrate another win. In the end, the score was 68:66, after a series of free throws on both sides, which kept the red and white in front. Igokea are now located in the middle of the standings with a 3:3 record after 6 rounds played.

Key moments: Perhaps the key moment of the game occurred with a minute and a half left, when Crvena zvezda mts led by only a point (61:60) and Nemanja Dangubić missed his 3-point shot attempt. That’s when Marko Gudurić jumped high and grabbed an offensive rebound, to complete a 3-point play afterwards and take his team ahead by four points (64:60). Igokea never managed to strike back, even though they tried many ways, even forcing a series of free throws in the game’s ending.

Man of the match: Milko Bjelica was the man of the match this time, as his double double performance (15 points, 10 rebounds), alongside 2 assists helped his team crucially in order to score sixth win of the season. His valuation in the end was a game-high 24!

Can' trick the stats: Usually we seek difference between the teams in other categories, but this time stats reveal that Igokea missed 9 free throw attempts and Crvena zvezda mts missed 7! If Igokea would make it a tie here, they would eventually force an overtime and… who knows what else might happen then! In most of the other statistical categories the teams were more or less even… just like the score also indicates!
