Game recap: Sports Hall Pinki is definitely the place where amazing things happen. This Saturday evening, Mega Leks and Krka played just an incredible match, as they scored 31 three-pointers combined! Mega Leks made 17 three-pointers, which is the 2016/17 season record, while Krka scored 14. Two teams almost broke the 200+ points limit, while at the end it was Krka who prevailed after a dramatic finish.
Key moments: When Marko Luković made a 3pts shot from a very long distance , Krka escaped to 94:89. As there was only 60 seconds left on the clock, it looked that the visitors have already won the match. But, Kostja Mushidi answered back with a quick three-pointer for 92:94, while Rade Zagorac made a steal and had a chance to tie the score for Mega Leks... He missed an easy lay-up!
But, that was not the end of tonight's basketball drama. Mega Leks were forced to make a quick foul, so Sandi Čebular went to the line for Krka. He missed both free-throws and Mega Leks had another chance to do something... Mushidi made defensive rebound, he made a pass to Jovan Novak, while the ball slipped away from his hands!
Finally, Matej Rojc went to the line for Krka, he made just one free-throw for 95:92, while the visitors picked up an offensive rebound and Rojc went to the line again. He made 1 free-throw one more time, but that was enough for Krka to escape on a safe distance 96:92. In the remaining 5 seconds Mega Leks scored another three-pointer for the final score 96:95.
Man of the match: Krka power forward Marko Luković scored 23 points today, while 15 of them he made just in the 1st quarter! He also had 11 rebounds.
