Story of the game: It has been a historical basketball night in Skopje! The home side Karpoš Sokoli have knocked down until now unbeaten Budućnost VOLI and achieved their first ever triumph in the ABA League. Ever since the second quarter in which they have dominated, Dragan Nikolić’s squad have been in front and in the end have deservedly celebrated their first pair of points this season in the regional competition. For Budućnost VOLI this is their first defeat which means that Crvena zvezda mts stay the only undefeated team of the league.

Key moments: The key to the victory of the home side was the second quarter in which Karpoš Sokoli have completely turned the flow of the game around in their favour after trailing by 7 points after 1st quarter. They have triumphed 25:8 in the second period and ever since did not allow the guests to threaten their lead until the very end!

Man of the match: Dragan Zeković was the man that carried his team towards the maiden win in the ABA League and he did it with his all-around performance! He finished the game with 17 points (3/7 from the perimeter), 5 rebounds, 2 assists and just as many blocks. Altogether it was enough for the valuation of 19, while his team have created themselves 13 points of advantage in 29 minutes that he spent on court. He is our man of the match.

Can't trick the stats: The assist/turnover ratio was the decisive thing this time. While Karpoš Sokoli had 20 assists in comparison to 8 turnovers, it was the other way around at the side of the guests (8/11).
