BCL: Cibona and Mega Leks unsuccessful on the road

This was definitely not a good week for ABA League clubs in the Basketball Champions League.

After Partizan NIS and Mornar suffered defeats on Tuesday, the two other ABA League representatives faced the same fate one day later.

Cibona lost the away game against Belgian team Oostende. The Wolves were trailing from the start, but they managed to reduce the margin to just a single point before the last quarter - 58:57. However, Oostende increased the pace in the final 10 minutes and scored a convincing win - 82:70.

The only good news for Cibona fans is that Ante Žižić returned to the team roster after missing the last match in the ABA League.

Mega Leks suffered road defeat against Spanish team Tenerife. Once again, the 4th quarter was the problem for the ABA league side. Mega approached to -4 before the last 10 minutes - 54:50, but then they scored only 9 points in the final quarter and failed to complete a comeback - 73:59.
