Game recap: In the great domestic derby, Olimpija Ljubljana have beaten Krka at home in Stožice Arena and have returned to winning path after three-game winless streak. This is the fourth victory of the season for Gašper Okorn’s squad, while Krka still have five, one more than their arch rivals from the capital. Krka appeared without their injured key player Marko Luković, who will be out for another month, after missing the last two games.

Key moments: After both teams have been tied both after first and after second quarter, the Dragons pulled away after the break, when they have gone on an 11:0 run in a 3-minute period between the 23rd and 26th minute. This gave them a 55:42 advantage over Krka and the guests have not managed to recovered from the blow.

Man of the match: Brandon Jefferson shined in the victory by the home team this time, as he contributed 19 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals for the Dragons. He achieved a game high valuation of 18 and deservedly took the honour for the man of the match.

Can’t trick the stats: Without Luković in the paint it was difficult for Krka to maintain balance under the rim and it was the most evident from the number of rebounds by both teams. Olimpija grabbed 39 and Krka 33, which was the main statistical difference between the two teams and has well affected the game’s outcome.
