Partizan NIS celebrated, Mornar defeated
In the eighth round of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, Partizan NIS have beaten MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg for the second time this year, while Mornar were defeated on the road in Oostende.

In the eighth round of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, Partizan NIS have beaten MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg for the second time this year, while Mornar were defeated on the road in Oostende.
Partizan NIS celebrated over German side MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg for the second time this season, but again, just like in the opening round, their mission was far from easy. Aleksandar Džikić's side needed overtime to crack the resistance of the opponents and they did it. The black and white began the game strongly and led by 9 points after the first quarter, but the guests have cut the deficit to 2 by half time and it has been anybody's game ever since. In the final seconds, Partizan was the luckiest side. The final score was 86:82 in favour of the Belgrade ABA League squad.
Novica Veličković was the top scorer of Partizan NIS with 21 points, while William Hatcher added 20.
In Group D, Telenet Oostende were too strong for Mornar at home court in Oostende and got the revenge for the defeat in the first round of the regular season in Bar, when the ABA League side came out of their battle as the better rival. Oostende were up by 13 points already at half time buzzer and they did not have much trouble protecting their lead in the second half. Lamont Jones was the top scorer for Mornar with 14 points, while Cole Dickerson added 11.
