Another tough night for ABA League clubs in Basketball Champions League. Both Mega Leks and Cibona suffered defeats in the 8th round of this competition.

Mega Leks played against Italian team Avellino on the road, but this evening the boys from Sremska Mitrovica failed in their offense. Scoring just 61 points in a match like this is certainly not enough and that explains a heavy defeat in Italy. Still, it must be mentioned that Mega Leks played without one of their best attackers Ognjen Jaramaz, who watched the game from the bench due to minor injury.

While Mega Leks can blame their offense for tonight's defeat, Cibona can certainly have to think about their defense. The Wolves conceded no less than 106 points in the away match against Tenerife and suffered a defeat. But, have in mind that Cibona was without Ante Žižić, Željko Šakić, Marin Rozić and Nebojša Jokismović in this match.
