Mornar parted ways with Dickerson and Krstić

What has been expected has now officially happened: Cole Dickerson and Nemanja Krsić are no longer members of Mornar, since ABA League side of Bar have terminated the contract with the duo.

Head coach Đorđije Pavićević was not satisfied with their contribution this season and their departures were an expected outcome of the cooperation that has been going on for four months.

“They did not warrant the trust and this way we wish to relieve our budget and to lower the number of foreign players on our roster as well. Our main goal is to continue playing in the ABA League in the future seasons. We will make several additional changes before January, when the team for the second part of the season will be completed,” Pavićević stated.

Krstić played 10 games for Mornar in the ABA League this season, averaging 3.6 points and 1.5 rebounds per game, while Dickerson averaged 9.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in the regional competition.

Ono što se naslućivalo, desilo se: Kol Dikerson i Nemanja Krstić više nisu članovi Mornara, barski ABA ligaš je sa njima raskinuo ugovor.

Trener Đorđije Pavićević nije bio zadovoljan njihovim učinkom ove sezone i razlaz je bio očekivan epilog saradnje koja je trajala četiri mjeseca.

“Nisu ispunili očekivanja, a ovim potezom nastojali smo da rasteretimo budžet, ali i da smanjimo broj stranaca. Prvi cilj je opstanak u ABA ligi. Povući ćemo još neke poteze pred januarski prelazni rok u kojem se kompletira ekipa za drugi dio sezone,” istakao je Pavićević.

Krstić je za Mornar ove sezone u ABA ligi odigrao 10 utakmica sa prosjekom od 3,6 poena i 1,5 skoka po utakmici, dok je Dikerson u 10 nastupa zabelježio 9,6 poena i 3,6 skoka po meču u regionalnom takmičenju.
