Game recap: In the game in Belgrade, two teams with totally different situations in the standings met and as it has been expected, Cedevita grabbed a new pair of points, especially thanks to their new excellent shooting performance. This is Cedevita’s ninth win of the season, which keeps them in the race for the Playoffs, as they stay on fourth place. On the other side, FMP share the bottom of the standings with Karpoš Sokoli with both teams having three wins so far on their records.

Key moments: FMP fought bravely after returning to court following the half time break and have managed to cut their 14-point half time deficit to only 7 points after three quarters. However, Cedevita made clear who the bosses were at the beginning of the last quarter, when they went on a 9:0 run in the opening two minutes and pulled away to a 78:62 lead. This was a decisive part of the game, as the hosts never managed to recover from this 16-point deficit anymore.

Man of the match: He was not seen as one of the key men on Cedevita’s roster when the season began, but he is slowly but for sure emerging to become one of them. Toni Katić finished the game with 12 points, 8 assists, 3 steals, a rebound and a game high valuation of 19. However, the thing that makes his performance especially impressive is the fact that during 27 minutes that he spent on court, Cedevita have gained 15 points of advantage over the opponent, which was also the best record of the game. He is our man of the match!

Can't trick the stats: Two teams had similar stats, but one cannot overlook excellent Cedevita’s shooting percentages – they scored 13 of them with a 52% success rate. This is what pushed Veljko Mršić’s squad over the opponent this time around!
