Game recap: The Wolves indeed look very powerful! The famous club from Zagreb achieved their third win in a row in the ABA League and therefore made another big step forward in the race for the Playoffs. It was all over already in the 1st half. Scott Reynolds and Željko Šakić were leading the home side offensively, while Cibona have scored 48 points until the halftime! Krka simply could not follow that rhythm, especially because they were without their top scorer Marko Luković, so the visitors were behind by 17 points at the big break - 48:31. There was no coming back from that deficit. Not today...
Key moments: Cibona gained the crucial lead in the 2nd quarter, when they made 15:0 run and escaped from 28:24 to 43:24!
Man of the match: Željko Šakić had the highest index rating in the winning team. He made 16 points and had 6 rebounds & 4 assists which brought him 26 index points. It is also worth mentioning that Ante Žižić collected another double-double achievement - 10 points & 11 rebounds.
Can't trick the stats: Cibona dominated every single column in the stats. The Wolves had 10 assists more than Krka, they had 14 rebounds more than Krka...
