Cedevita wins in Skopje and continues chasing Playoffs
In the first ABA League game in 2017, Cedevita have grabbed an important road win in Jane Sandanski Arena in Skopje against MZT Skopje Aerodrom which keeps them in the race for the Playoffs. On the other hand, MZT keep struggling in the battle to avoid the bottom.

Game recap: Cedevita did not need long to recover from tough defeat against league’s frontrunners Crvena zvezda mts at home in Dom sportova, as they are returning home to Zagreb from Skopje with two points that they have grabbed in the battle with MZT Skopje Aerodrom in Jane Sandanski Arena. This win keeps Veljko Mršić’s squad in a good position in the race for a spot in the Playoffs. MZT on the other hand have lost fourth time in a row and they are keeping on the struggle to avoid the relegation spot at the bottom of the standings.
Key moments: The decisive one was for sure the second quarter, when the visitors have scored more than twice as many points as the home side and have created themselves a secure lead ahead of MZT. The Zagreb boys have scored no less than 31 points in only 10 minutes and pulled away to 53:36 lead at the break.
Man of the match: Ra’shad James was certainly the man of the match this time. He did not only thrill the crowd with his fantastic dunks, but also led the way for Cedevita in scoring (21 points) and passing (4 assists), whilst adding 3 rebounds and 2 steals. He ended the game with a game high valuation of 26 during the 32 minutes, that he had spent on court.
Can't trick the stats: Dominance in the paint was integral for Cedevita on their way to the victory. They have outrebounded the home side by 35:25 and this is what influenced the outcome of the game.
