BCL: Revenge for Cibona over Mornar

On the 11th gameday of Basketball Champions League, Cibona have defeated Mornar in the ABA League clash. Mega Leks were defeated on the road in Lithuania by Juventus Utena.

The 11th gameday of the regular season of the Basketball Champions League is marked by a clash of two ABA League sides. The fourth time that they have met this season, Cibona have overpowered the home side in Bar and got their revenge for a shocking defeat in the 15th round of the ABA League in Topolica Sports Hall. Mornar quickly went ahead and were up by 10 points already after just as many minutes. However, the guests fought back and won the second and third quarters combined by 19 points. This was enough for them to bring the game calmly to an end and celebrate. The final score was 92:81 for Cibona and Andrija Ćorić was the top scorer of Cibosi with 17 points, while Marko Mijović was the most efficient on the side of Mornar with 16.

On the road in Lithuania, Mega Leks were not able to upset Juventus Utena. It has been a close game until the final moments, but in the end the home side prevailed, with the final score of 85:78, even though the Sremska Mitrovica side were only 2 points away from the home side within half minute from the end. The newcomer in Dejan Milojević's squad Aleksandar Marelja had 17 points, while Ognjen Jaramaz, Rade Zagorac and Jovan Novak added 16 each.
