Game recap: Cedevita’s chances of reaching the ABA League Playoffs now look strong with eight rounds remaining, as they have reached their 13th triumph of the season against Mega Leks at home in Dom sportova (3rd in a row) and have two wins more on their record than their arch rivals of Cibona at the fifth place. Veljko Mršić’s squad have turned the game in their favour in the last quarter. Mega Leks, on the other hand, keep struggling in the battle to avoid relegation, as they share the very bottom of the standings together with MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Krka (each of them have grabbed five wins this season so far).

Key moments: Cedevita have been in front of Mega Leks for the majority of the game, but when Rade Zagorac scored a triple in the 33rd minute, it was anybody’s game again (71:70). However, over the next minute, the home side answered with a 7:0 run and as it turned out, decided the winner.

Mega Leks did manage to threaten again in the end, as Zagorac made it again a 1-point game (86:85) with a minute left, but his team did not manage to gather enough strength to turn it around completely.

Man of the match: It hasn’t been a first game of Luka Babić on court after a long absence due to an injury, but the first one where he has shown again what he is capable of. He finished the game with 27 points (3/6 from beyond the arc), 9 assists, 6 rebounds and a valuation of 34! He is our man of the match!

Take a look at some of the best plays by Luka Babić from the game against Cedevita:

Can' trick the stats: Of course, there is not any major difference between the two teams since the score was close in the end. However, Cedevita did have four rebounds more than Mega Leks and if this was any different, so the score might have been!
