Game recap: Thanks to their amazing game ending, Olimpija Ljubljana have knocked down Partizan NIS at home in Tivoli Hall, Ljubljana and ended the eight games long winning streak by the guests. Regardless of the result, Partizan NIS remain in the second place in the standings and with their 14 wins grabbed so far, they have three triumphs more than the fifth place Cibona, so their playoffs chances remain strong. On the other hand, Olimpija continue to hold in their hands the 7th place in the standings with 8 wins now on their record.

Key moments: The Dragons turned the game around in their favour in the final moments of the clash. With less than two minutes left on the clock, the guests were still in front by 2 points (65:63). However, that’s when Olimpija went on to a 8:0 run, led by phenomenal Brandon Jefferson, who scored 2 three-pointers on two consecutive possessions. The score was 71:65 in favour of the green and white and only half a minute left – that’s when everyone realized that the battle for two points was over!

Check out the crucial three-pointers by Jefferson:

Man of the match: Devin Oliver has once again proved himself to be extremely useful when his team needed him the most. He was everywhere on court and was doing literally everything down there. He ended the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a game-high valuation of 25! He is our man of the match.

Can' trick the stats: Olimpija has had major problems with valuing their ball possession all season long and this time they have proven to themselves how important the control of this factor is. They had 20 assists and only 10 turnovers, which eventually led them towards the victory against the great rival.
