The 13th round of Basketball Champions League is approaching, while ABA League teams are ready to face new challenges.

Only two rounds before the end of the Regular Season the situation in Group D is quite interesting. There is a big battle for the 5th place on the standings and Cibona are in it. The Wolves will play against Strasbourg away this week and the win would get them very close to the precious ticket for the next stage.

Mega Leks are also one of the pretenders to that 5th place in the group, while they are about to face Oostende in this round. The boys from Sremska Mitrovica are still without an away win in the 2016/17 Basketball Champions League campaign, so perhaps the time has come to finally score one.

Mornar are in the most difficult situation when it comes to the battle for the 5th spot in Group D. The squad from Bar are the last placed team on the table with 3 wins, but still they will try to stun Juventus away, like they did it to Avellino last week in Italy.

As far as Group E is concerned, there is a big derby this week and it is placed in Belgrade. Partizan NIS will host AEK Athens, and the winner of this match will have a nice chance to finish the Regular Season at the 2nd place in the group.
