Game recap: Mornar are continuing with strong performances at home court in Topolica Sports Hall. This time they demonstrated the strength of their home fortress against their local rivals Budućnost VOLI. Mornar have been in front throughout the game and have in the end deservedly celebrated their seventh win of the season, which keeps them two wins above the very bottom of the standings and out of the danger zone. On the other hand, Budućnost VOLI remain with 13 wins on their record after 19 rounds played and are still far from already securing their spot in the ABA League Playoffs.
Key moments: Budućnost VOLI did come close in the final minutes of the game and when Nemanja Gordić scored a three-pointer with two minutes before the end, it was only a one-point game (71:70). However, Mornar responded with a 4:0 run within a minute and the decisive moments came with a minute left on the clock, when Balša Radunović blocked Marcus Williams’ attempt to cut the deficit of his team to 73:72 and Antabia Waller made two points on the other side on the counter attack. Only 45 seconds were remaining, the home side were up by five points and the hope of the guests was lost…
