Game recap: Krka have put on a magnificent display at home court to beat Cedevita for the second time this season and to escape their streak of nine games without a triumph in the ABA League. This success takes Dejan Mihevc’s squad away from the very bottom of the standings and they can now breath more easily. On the other side, Cedevita have lost after three straight wins and with 13 triumphs on their record after 19 games played, their Playoffs status is still far from confirmed.

Key moments: Cedevita were the ones to begin the game more determinedly and they were up by eight points after ten minutes. However, Krka’s second lineup took the matters into their own hands at the beginning of the second period, when they have turned the game around in their favour with a 23:1 run between 10th and 15th minute for the score of 40:28. This was the turning point of the game.

However, Cedevita did manage to threaten Krka’s win and managed to tie the game to 81:81 late in the last quarter. Rebec’s three-pointer and Dimec’s free throw, that made the 4:0 run between 38th and 39th minute for the 85:81 score were decisive in the end.

Man of the match: Krka sure missed him plenty while he was gone due to injury and this time around he has proven again his value for the Novo mesto squad. Marko Luković finished the game with 24 points, 7 rebounds, an assist and a steal and gathered a game-high valuation of 26. He is our man of the match!

Can' trick the stats: Krka have demonstrated the value of the team game this time around. They have outassisted Cedevita 27:18 and this is what turned the game their way.
