BCL: Partizan NIS a step closer to Round of 16
Partizan NIS have concluded a successful 3/3 night of the ABA League teams in the European competitions, by beating PAOK on the road in Thessaloniki in the Basketball Champions League Playoff Qualifiers 1st leg. This puts the Belgrade side one step closer to round of 16!

The black and white have triumphed fully deservedly, as they have led almost throughout the game, following their 8-point lead (22:14) after 10 minutes of play. The home side did come back in the second half and even took a 3-point lead with 10 minutes left in the game.
However, Aleksandar Džikić’s squad have confirmed their quality in the dying minutes of the game and triumphed with the score 76:74 and are therefore returning home to Belgrade for the 2nd leg with 2 points of advantage.
William Hatcher shined for Partizan with 27 points, while Branislav Ratkovica, Vanja Marinković and Stefan Birčević scored 10 points each.
