MZT Skopje Aerodrom are doing their best to escape the danger zone and they have grabbed their third win in a row to do so. After Mega Leks and Union Olimpija they have now knocked down Krka as well.

Game recap: Over the past several rounds, MZT Skopje Aerodrom have been doing giant steps in order to avoid the bottom of the standings and the danger of being relegated from the ABA League. Their 22nd round game was no different. In the second half, they have definitely crushed the resistance of the guests and scored a 3rd win in a row – after Mega Leks and Union Olimpija, Krka have also fallen under their pressure. After several rounds, MZT are now a win above the bottom, while Krka continue to struggle, sharing the last position in the standings with Mornar, Zadar and Mega Leks.

Big news for MZT is also that they have beaten Krka by more than 10 points, which was the margin in favour of the Novo mesto side the first time they have met this season.

Key moments: It has still been anybody’s game in 26th minute, when MZT Skopje Aerodrom were in front by only 2 points (52:50). However, over the next three minutes a 9:0 run by the home side followed to take them ahead by 61:50. Newcomer Devon Van Oostrum scored 5 consecutive points to lead the way for his team towards this decisive run.

Man of the match: Double-double Josh Scott was the man for MZT Skopje Aerodrom this time, as he led his team towards the triumph with 24 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist and a valuation of 34! He is our man of the match!

Can't trick the stats: It was evident this time around! You simply cannot win on the road without an inside game! MZT Skopje Aerodrom outrebounded Krka by 33:27 in rebounds and this is what pushed the game their way.
