Olimpija in the lead in Cup semi-finals

Union Olimpija are only a step away from securing themselves a spot in the domestic National Cup semifinals, after they have outplayed Helios Suns in the first leg quarterfinal at home in Stožice. The green and white did the majority of their job in the opening half, after which they were already 12 points up. In the second half, they even increased their advantage a bit until the final score of 87:70. Devin Oliver led the way in scoring with 21 points, while Nikola Janković and Gregor Hrovat had 15 each.

At home in Slovenske Konjice, the home KK Konjice side have come up with an upset by beating Hopsi 88:84. The home side turned the game around late in the game, by winning the last quarter by 8 points of margin. Tomaž Jereb was the one to shine for the home side with an astonishing achievement of 43 points!

Rogaška were better than Zlatorog thanks to their 20:12 last quarter comeback. They celebrated by a point 63:62 and will have a lot to fight for in the second game on Wednesday. Dragan Đuranović was the top scorer of Rogaška with 15 points. On the other side former ABA League player with Krka Igor Tratnik had 17.
