ABA League 23rd round, Wednesday, 22.2.2017:

IGOKEA - KRKA

Where? Sports Hall Laktaši, Laktaši.

When? 21:00

Story of the game: Igokea are returning to their hall in Laktaši with the trophy of the national cup in their bags. The boys from Aleksandrovac have won the domestic competition last week, so they are now preparing a small party for their fans. The best thing for the team is that they are positioned quite safe at the 6th place on the ABA League standings, so they do not need to worry about the relegation.

On the other side, Krka do need to worry about relegation, as they are currently sharing the last place on the table together with Zadar and Mornar. The squad from Novo mesto need to score an away win now more than ever, so they will try to use the festival atmosphere in Laktaši to "steal" two valuable points.

In the first part of the season, Igokea scored quite a comfortable win in Novo mesto - 88:72.

Match-up in focus: Strahinja Mićović (Igokea) vs. Marko Luković (Krka). They are very similar types of players. They both play as power forwards, but that does not prevent them from making plenty of shots from long range. The only question is - Who will have a better shooting night on Wednesday?

Head to head in regional league: In total 5:6; In Laktaši 3:2.
