ANGT: Zvezda host the tournament in Belgrade

The fourth of the Adidas Next Generation Qualifying Tournaments is about to take place in Belgrade, with Crvena zvezda mts being the hosts and Mega Bemax, Partizan NIS and Spars Sarajevo out of the ABA League countries also participating besides the red and white.

The Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament will unveil a new qualifying event this weekend with the introduction of the ANGT Belgrade, hosted by Crvena zvezda mts from 24 February to 26 February 2017.

ABA League countries will have four representatives at this tournament – besides the hosts Crvena zvezda mts, also Mega Bemax, Partizan NIS and Spars Sarajevo.

It will be the last one out of 4 Adidas Next Generation Qualifying Tournaments, with the same rules as the previous ones. Eight teams will be divided into two groups, while the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.

The winners of the tournament will qualify for the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals in Istanbul.

Group A: U18 Porsche BBA Ludwigsburg, U18 Crvena zvezda mts, U18 Partizan NIS, U18 Stella Azzura Rome.

Group B: U18 GBA Prague, U18 Spars Sarajevo, U18 Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv, U18 Mega Bemax.
