BCL: Partizan finished their 2016/17 European campaign

Partizan NIS got defeated by PAOK by 82:78 in the 2nd leg of the Basketball Champions League Playoffs Qualifier and failed to advance to the next stage.

Unfortunately, Partizan NIS won't play in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16. After winning the 1st leg against PAOK by 76:74 on the road, the Belgrade crew suffered a 4-point defeat at home in the 2nd leg and got eliminated from the competition.

The final score of the match in Belgrade was Partizan NIS - PAOK 78:82.

It was a very, very dramatic game. In front of 7.000 fans in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Partizan NIS were down by 24 points in the 3rd quarter - 40:64, but at the end the home team had a chance to advance to the next stage! Partizan NIS crew made a stunning comeback in the 4th quarter, as they reduced the margin to just 4 points - 78:82, while when you add that 2-point win from the 1st leg the Belgrade side were down by only 2 points on aggregate!

And they had the final ball possession in this match!

However, Mihajlo Andrić ran inside the paint and made a turnover as the ball slipped from his hands and ended up with PAOK players. It was over, PAOK advanced to the next stage by winning this two-game clash 156:154 on aggregate.
