In the opening game of the Saturday night programme, Krka will host Mornar in Leon Štukelj Hall, Novo mesto. It will be a question of life and death for both teams that are currently fiercely battling to avoid relegation from the ABA League.

Story of the game: A big basketball night is coming up in Novo mesto and it will be a moment of truth for Krka and Mornar, two of the three teams that are currently occupying the bottom of the standings.
Since it is a battle of two direct competitors that wish to avoid relegation it is clear that a win would count double this time. Since it that would give the winner perhaps even a crucial advantage at the end of the regular season.
Besides the victory, the final margin will matter as well. In the first game of those two rivals, Mornar came out victorious with 13 points of advantage, so this will be the margin that Krka will be chasing in case of a victory.
