Game recap: Union Olimpija haven’t managed to build upon their Tivoli magic and beat another Playoffs side after Partizan NIS and Budućnost VOLI. Cedevita were the better team in Ljubljana this time. However, the Zagreb squad have needed overtime to beat the green and white and score their 19th win in the season, that keeps them in the race for the second place in the standings after the end of the regular season and a home-court advantage in the semi-finals.

Key moments: Union Olimpija were 83:80 up with 20 seconds left in the regular part of the game, however they managed to lose the advantage in the final seconds, when Miro Bilan made a layup for 83:83. In the overtime the Dragons were also leading 89:85 with 2 mintues left, but Cedevita managed to turn it into their favour with an 8:0 run for which Luka Babić contributed five points. With 40 seconds remaining in the overtime, Cedevita led 93:89. Union Olimpija managed to make the game interesting again since they had the shot for the victory in the final second, but Jure Pelko missed from the 3-point range.

Man of the match: Luka Babić did not only make a crucial contribution for Cedevita when it mattered the most – he also led his team towards the win throughout the game. He ended the clash with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and a game high valuation of 21. He is our man of the match.

Can't trick the stats: Union Olimpija’s free throw execution was disastrous as they have scored only 13 out of 27 (48%). This is what directly influenced the outcome of the game.
