Story of the game: Due to the situation in which Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall is occuppied this week, Crvena zvezda mts will not be able to host Budućnost VOLI in their home. Instead, the match will be played in much smaller gym in Železnik, but one thing will remain the same - The red & white squad will have incredibly loud support from the stands, like in every match in this season. With the fans on their side, Crvena zvezda mts will try to use the home court advantage to beat Budućnost VOLI for the 3rd time in this season and to advance to the 2016/17 ABA League Finals.
At the same time, the visitors have their own plans. Budućnost VOLI have certainly boosted their confidence to the maximum level after winning Game 2 and defeating Crvena zvezda mts for the 1st time in the 2016/17 campaign. The boys in blue are well aware that if they manage to beat Zvezda once again, then they will finally play in the finals of the regional competition. That is something Budućnost VOLI have been trying for years.
Match-up in focus: Marko Simonović (Crvena zvezda mts) vs. Boris Savović (Budućnost VOLI). They will have a direct duel at the power forward position, but they will probably use different basketball weapons. Marko Simonović will try to use his remarkable shooting skills, while Savović will definitely look to use his height advantage.
