Budućnost and Mornar with first steps towards finals

Budućnost VOLI and Mornar are on the right track on their way towards desired places in the Montenegrin National Championship Semi-finals, after beating Lovćen 1947 and Teodo, respectively, in the first games of the series.

Budućnost VOLI used their home court advantage to come out on top against Lovćen 1947 in Morača hall in the first game of the Montenegrin National Championship Semi-finals. The squad, led by Igor Đaletić from the bench, have created themselves a 9-point advantage already in the opening half and then easily cruised towards a 10-point win in the end with the final score of 79:69. The Šehović brothers led the way in scoring for the blue and white, as Suad put in 19 and Sead 15 points.

In the other game of the Semi-finals Round 1, Mornar prevailed over Teodo of Tivat at home in Topolica sports hall in Bar. The home side went off to a slow start and were behind by 10 points as the first quarter buzzer went on. However, they made a major comeback in the second and third quarters, when they made a +15 in their favour, combined. In the last quarter they have confirmed their lead and celebrated a victory with the final score of 70:65. Lamont Jones was the top scorer of the side of Bar with 22 points, while Boris Bakić added 12.
