ABA League rivals to battle for trophy in Macedonia
The Finals of the Macedonian National Championship are set and the same two teams that have previously battled for the cup trophy will once again be on the big stage – MZT Skopje Aerodrom will fight against Karpoš Sokoli, which have both swept their semi-final series against Kumanovo and Rabotnički, respectively.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom outplayed Kumanovo 2009 once again to pave their way towards the finals, as they have used their excellent second half display to cruise to a 84:64 victory over the guests – and a 3:0 triumph in victories. This time, Đorđe Drenovac was MZT’s top scorer with 17 points, while Danilo Mijatović had 15.
In the other game of the day, Karpoš Sokoli eliminated Rabotnički from the trophy chase, as they have achieved their 3:0 win in the semi-final series by winning the last semi-final game with 76:65 win on the road. Bojan Trajkovski, who topped the scoring list of the Falcons had 21 points on his record, while Darko Sokolov was the one to follow him with 14.
