Major comeback for Cedevita’s 1:0 lead in the finals

Cedevita have beaten Cibona in the first game of the Croatian National Championship Finals after a major comeback made in the second half. They are now in front by one win in the final series of the domestic championship.

Cedevita have made the break in the Croatian National Championship Finals, as they have beaten Cibona on the road in Dražen Petrović Arena in Zagreb after a major comeback in the second half of the game.

After excellent second quarter, Cibona were in front by 11 points at half time and they remained in control of the game all until the middle of the last quarter. However, Veljko Mršić’s squad did not surrender, fought back and with a minute left on the clock, Ryan Boatright took them in front for the first time in the final part of the game (75:73). In the final minute, the ABA League runners-up remained calm and celebrated a 79:73 win in the end.

Filip Krušlin was the top scorer of the winning side with 18 points made, while Luka Žorić had 24 on his record for Cibona.
