Veljko Mršić is no longer Cedevita head coach
Several days after the end of the season in which Cedevita have once more participated in the ABA League Finals, it has been agreed for Veljko Mršić to end his post as the club's head coach.

Director and Sports Director of the club Davor Užbinec and Matej Mamić, have held a meeting with now former head coach and agreed to terminate their agreement on mutual consent. For now Veljko Mršić has no agreement in place with any other club, but he might take over a new team soon.
“By parting ways with Mršić we have ended the four-year cycle and we are heading towards reconstruction of the team, which will, in accordance with the agreement made with Veljko, be another coach’s job. We wish all the best in his future career to Veljko. I believe that it would only go upwards from this point and that he would return one day to Cedevita to become head coach again,” Užbinec told.
Matej Mamić has confirmed the beginning of negotiations with Mršić’s successor, but for now there are no eventual names that could be named. “We are beginning the negotiations and believe that we would agree on the best possible option for the club. We will know more about the eventual roster reinforcements and new head coach in two weeks at most and this is the general time frame in which we wish to present the new Cedevita head coach, which will lead the club in the forthcoming seasons. Concerning Veljko, we have said goodbye to each other as friends and I honestly wish him lots of luck, while thanking him for everything what he has done for the club in the previous years and he did plenty.”

Veljko Mršić nije više trener Cedevite
Nekoliko dana po završetku sezone u kojoj je Cedevita ponovno osvojila dvostruku krunu u Hrvatskoj dogovoreno je da dosadašnji trener Veljko Mršić neće voditi klub u novoj sezoni.
Sa dosadašnjim trenerom sastanak su imali Davor Užbinec i Matej Mamić, direktor i sportski direktor kluba nakon kojeg su se dogovorili za sporazumni raskid ugovora. Veljko Mršić za sada nema dogovoreni angažman sa nekim novim klubom no, uskoro bi mogao preuzeti mjesto u nekoj novoj sredini.
"Ovime smo završili četverogodišnji ciklus i krećemo u rekonstrukciju momčadi što će, po zajedničkom dogovoru s Veljkom, odraditi novi trener. Njemu želimo sve najbolje u karijeri za koju vjerujem da će ići prema gore, a zaista vjerujem da će nam se Veljko Mršić u budućnosti ponovno vratiti i jednog dana ponovno sjesti na klupu kao prvi trener kluba", rekao je direktor Davor Užbinec.
Matej Mamić potvrdio je početak pregovora sa Mršićevim nasljednikom no za sada nema špekuliranja o eventualnim imenima. "Mi krećemo u pregovore i vjerujemo da ćemo dogovoriti najbolju opciju za klub. O eventualnim igračkim pojačanjima i novom treneru ćemo više za maksimalno dva tjedna što je okvirni rok da javnosti predstavimo novog trenera Cedevite koji će klub voditi u slijedećim sezonama. Što se Veljka tiče, oprostili smo se kao prijatelji i iskreno mu želim puno sreće uz zahvalu za sve što je napravio za klub proteklih godina a napravio je zaista jako puno."
